Seventh: UC San Diego Commencement 2026

Graduates of the Class of 2026,

You have fulfilled the requirements of UC San Diego and of Seventh College and in doing so, you are part of the third graduating class of Seventh College. You should feel enormously proud of everything you have accomplished.

Throughout your time at Seventh College, you’ve developed the skills and values at the heart of a Seventh College education. You’ve collaborated in diverse teams and embraced interdisciplinary thinking to confront global challenges. You’ve asked hard questions and engaged in creative, critical inquiry. You’ve reflected on your place in the world and acted with care—for yourself, your community, and our planet. You’ve communicated with empathy, led with purpose, and discovered your own unique capacity to drive change. These are the tools that will serve you and those around you, for a lifetime.

Thank you for being part of the Seventh College community. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Please stay connected and lend your voice and support to the SeVIIs who will follow in your footsteps.
